A dark cloud

Knowing when to blow that cloud away can be a challenge. I believe that if it was sunny all the time we would not appreciate how beautiful a crystal clear sunny day can be. Putting life into perspective is something I have to remind myself from time to time. Having a down day is a normal thing. It is just when that down day turns into a week or so and the normal things that get you up and going just do not seem to work. This doesn't happen often but I can remember a time when I was depressed it seemed the whole summer. I did not recognize it only on reflection, after I finally blew that big black cloud away. Funny how at the end of that black cloud a rainbow appears reaching out reminding me that God has been there the whole time waiting for me to notice. I have found that remembering to keep my daily prayers and devotions. This helps me to focus on the fact that he is in charge and Its OK to be in the Valley because each side of that valley is a mountain top that we will reach if we keep tracking on.
I am hoping that each of you are on a mountain top right now i know some of you are but If you are in a Valley know that you are not alone you are covered by a loving Creator who is patiently waiting for you to notice and to bring you peace and Joy!

Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you he will never leave you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31 :6

  2. Very relatable to everyone mom!! I think we have all been at a place like that. For me the hind sight was after the pregnancy with Kass. Ya I was feeling like junk with morning sickness but it's all in the attitude you take to the table when going through a difficult time. Adam helped me to become aware of the negative attitude and as much as it ticked me off at the time. The pregnancy with Shay although much worse than Kass' was a much more enjoyable one. It helps to have people in your life who you can trust to tell you when your "stinkin up the room" with your poopie attitude...LOL. Gotta love my hubby for being that for me...LOL.
Beautiful verse to tie it all together.
